A unique opportunity
To connect with each other through a hike and sharing of food in one of the most beautiful valleys on Madeira Island.
Christian Roland invites you to his land and retreat space for the day.
What we will do
- 11am – 3pm – hiking and connecting through the beautiful valley of Faja das Eguas
- 3pm – 4pm – shared lunch together at AldeiA
- 5pm – 6pm – an introduction to AldeiA
- 6pm – 10pm – full moon fire ceremony at Pico Redondo
A brief introduction to AldeiA
AldeiA’s mission is to create balance between humans and nature in the heart of Madeira.
AldeiA is a Village Tourism, Organic Agriculture and Reforestation project that Christian has been working on for the last five years. It is a heart-centred project focused on bringing people back to nature. What you need to know and bring
- Good hiking shoes
- A torch (a head torch is best if you have one)
- Vegetarian food to share
- Plate, cup and cutlery
- Swimming things for waterfalls (if you want)
- There’s a grill we can use for cooking
- The hike will take about 4 hours
